Jobs is rolling up the sleeves on his turtleneck
Granted I’m not really a huge fan of Gizmodo, however, I’m even less of a fan of an abuse of power. If you somehow haven’t heard about this story by now, here it is:

Sure. I don’t have all the facts and from what I’ve seen so far, nobody seems to even state exactly what the search relates to, but from the bit I have been reading about it, it just doesn’t seem like the most legit action ever. The skeptic in me definitely thinks that a mysterious and sizable contribution was made to the San Mateo government and / or REACT-California team by an off-shore company, which if unwound through the several layers of holding companies, could be traced back to Apple. Whether a publicity stunt, a diversion, or none of the above it makes my hatred for Apple increase that much more. It’s almost enough to make me not want to get the new iPhone when it comes out…. almost. OK, not really at all. It’s just that the iPhone plays so well with my iPod and MacBook. :) You know what. Down with Jason Chen and Gizmodo. Jason deserves at least 10 life sentences for his actions!
