Chicken and Rice
Just tried out a new dish tonight.
Came out pretty well for a first try I think and is a great dish for a cold night. Seeing that I felt under the weather today it was incredibly easy and felt like a good, nurturing, “get-well-soon” type of dish. Next time I might leave out some of the rice so it comes out a little more creamy. Also, I think I’ll cook it less time. I went about an hour and ten minutes, but the chicken dried out a bit. I suppose I could have cut the pieces a little larger as well. Oh, and some of these recipes call for a pack of dry onion soup mix, but since I didn’t have that I just went with the seasoned salt plus some garlic & onion powder and used cream of chicken with herbs. I’d definitely make it again!
